London, a striking city full of talented people and wonderful locations. A true place of opportunities! Which is why I find myself travelling there on a wintry Thursday, to get behind the scenes with LIVE!
Like any typical day in London, the city was rife with great atmosphere, with a light flurry of snow adding some Christmas cheer!
Little Venice, with its calm and picturesque waterways was the first location of the day. A selection of multi-coloured Narrow boats dotted along the canal give it a quirky vibe, and make it a prime spot for a photo-shoot. So where better a place to showcase LIVE! activewear, and meet some people who work closely with the brand.
Within its ethos of promoting a healthy and happy lifestyle, it is key that LIVE! work alongside professionals and influencers who promote the same ideals.
Rhiannon Lambert is a Harley Street Nutritionist, specialising in weight management, eating disorders and sports nutrition. Braving the cold wearing colourful LIVE! leggings, which are both high in quality and comfort, Rhiannon talked about the benefits and ease of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, ahead of her book release RE-NOURISH: A Simple Way To Eat Well.
Encouraging a healthy and balanced lifestyle, MissFits Nutrition also works with LIVE! to create engaging content for the social media world. Their Almond Butter and Cacao Protein Wonderballs, shared by co-founder Tara whilst at the canal were a welcome treat. The Cacao flavours with their chocolatey essence but no extra sugar are a sure recommendation for foodies. Alternately they offer ‘Protein Multitaskers’, a powder that comes in chocolate, mixed berry, coffee or vanilla flavour, a taste to suit everyone!

Moving on for some of that healthy yet tasty food mentioned, the Dayrooms Café in Notting Hill hosted more camera opportunities and time to talk. This beautiful stylish but quaint Australian themed café provided very healthy and photogenic food.
Among the pleasant staff, an attentive waitress formed an L into one of the Lattes to represent the brand, which seems like a great idea for future reference. With their broad choice of appetising meals and beverages, there was food for every mood.
Suitably for the weather, Rhiannon popped on an electric blue jacket by LIVE! which equally oozed fashion and warmth. Is there really a better combination? Among the delicious order was a broccoli and stilton soup accompanied by sourdough toast, a perfect example of putting the ‘yum’ back into green. Personally, I am wondering why I had never put poached egg and Avocado together before going here.
In all, talking over lunch it is clear to see what inspiring, strong people are affiliated with the LIVE! brand.
Finishing up, Teffy snapped Rhiannon in different LIVE! pieces in a few more stunning locations, from a greengrocer to iconic street features. All of which exude that typical Notting Hill charm. A charm that coordinates well with the versatile and trendy LIVE! clothing. Rhiannon wore Jean Leggings with a sheer mesh panel, one of many styles by LIVE! More notably, these leggings can be worn day to day or for feeling and looking casual when working out. Rhiannon’s outfits reiterated that among the huge choice of LIVE! clothing you can find quality, fashion and comfort.
Going behind the scenes with LIVE! shows what a successful and friendly brand they are. The clothing is as unique as it promises to be. Working with likeminded brands and individuals they have fun while promoting health and fitness, and bring that concept straight to you!

In need of a winter warming soup try Rhiannon's recipe from RE-NOURISH: A Simple Way To Eat Well. Available now (Yellow Kite £18.99)
COURGETTE, PEA AND MINT SOUP p.158
This is a beautiful and vibrant soup that will boost your vegetable intake for the day. I don’t see many people taking flasks to work these days and I think it’s a real shame; home-made soup is such a fabulous lunchtime option and is a great way to save some pennies! Reheating this soup is perfectly fine as long as you heat it thoroughly but it’s equally gorgeous cold on a hot day! This recipe serves four, giving you four meals ready for the week as the soup will last 3–4 days in the fridge.
It also freezes well. SERVES 4
- 1 tsp coconut or olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
- 300g frozen peas
- 3 medium courgettes (about 500g), grated
- 1 litre vegetable stock
- small handful of mint leaves, plus extra to serve
- salt and black pepper
- crème fraîche or yoghurt, to serve
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion over a medium heat for 3–4 minutes until translucent. Add the garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper and cook for a further minute before adding the peas, grated courgettes and stock. Bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly before transferring all the mixture to a blender. Blitz until smooth then add the mint leaves and blitz again. Return to the pan and taste and adjust the seasoning. Serve with some extra mint leaves, a swirl of crème fraîche or yoghurt and some freshly ground black pepper.
